Who We Are

My name is Adam Garrett. I have always loved to help people, and have wanted to help those that are homeless and poor (especially if you make $30,000 a year or less) locally more for a long time.  I created this site to give them far more help than any money I could ever give them would go even if spent on medicine, school, or otherwise. I created this site to give them the best that I have to offer, an education.

What We Do

We point those looking for assistance towards assistance, including knowledge about how to be in a better place, get and keep a job, get helpful services, budgeting tips, etc. I was intentionally homeless at one time, but that was long ago. Today I want to help homeless people while still retaining an overtime workweek as a real estate agent. An example of what I have done as a realtor includes pointing someone living on SSI, receiving less than $750 a month, toward the right loan so that they could be a homeowner. They received a home where they needed no down payment, no closing costs, and are paying a monthly mortgage with only 1% interest, a rate that is extremely low, still with enough other money out of under $750 to live on.

What We Believe

We believe that YOU are your greatest asset of all of the assets that you have the ability to change, no matter what your situation in life has been, what your disabilities are, what your education level, and where you have come from.

We believe that a solid relationship with God, in which you are confident in your abilities to change your situation, eager to help others, eager to grow in your faith, perseverant, eager to not only learn but to apply learned principles, as well as a solid work ethic are your greatest keys to success.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

1 Corinth.ians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward

How We Work

We don't do much other than point you in the right direction. You are the one that determines your own destiny. We developed this site in response to assist those looking for a helping hand to be better equipped to pull themselves up by their bootsraps with the small assistance of others and big help from God.
